FWD Accounts welcomes two new team members
Regional accounting firm FWD Accounts is pleased to announce the appointment of two new faces to its growing team.
Harry Bennett has joined as an apprentice, eager to dive into the world of tax, while Natalie has come on board as the central office administrator, helping everything run smoothly in the Bury St Edmunds office.
Harry, 18, joined as an accounts and tax trainee straight from King Edwards VI and is the latest inductee into the FWD apprentice programme. He is keen to learn the ropes of accountancy and will be working alongside the team as he earns his qualifications.
“I am really enjoying helping new colleagues and supporting clients with a variety of tasks,” says Harry, who grew up in Bury. “It feels like a good career choice for me with lots of opportunity.”
“From what I hear, this is different to other apprenticeship schemes – I’ve been involved in interesting work from day one and am loving it so far.”
While, on the admin side, Natalie Walpole is ready to bring her organisational skills to FWD. She’ll be helping with everything from managing schedules to supporting the team with various tasks, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
“The team here has been very welcoming and helpful,” said Natalie. “I previously worked for a council in customer services and have enjoyed dealing with people from across Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
“I’m really enjoying it; although accounts and tax are new to me, it’s been great to fit right in with the people here, in a good role to progress in.”
Jason Ford, Managing Director of FWD Accounts, shared his excitement about the firm’s new recruits: “In the short time since they both have joined FWD, we’ve seen great energy and enthusiasm from both Harry and Natalie.
“I’m excited to have them both on board, as the business continues to grow and expand in our region.”
“As the business expands, FWD Accounts is committed to supporting up-and-coming talented colleagues like Harry and Natalie, making sure everyone has the opportunity to develop within the company.”
